General

The Classic II is the flagship of the Rode studio microphone series. As it says on the tin - it is a true classic! This tube microphone produces a warm, full sound for vocals and instruments. Your studio cannot go without the Classic II. It has a 1-inch double diaphragm capsule that is powered by a vintage twin triode GE JAN 6072 tube and a customised Rode Jensen output transformer. Nine pickup patterns, a variable PAD and filter, shockmount and a rugged housing that is nickel-polished - these are some impressive specs! The Classic II comes with a double rustless 30-inch copper cable, a power supply, shockmount, standmount and an aluminium storage case.
