History of Roland Arrangers:

There was a time when the term "arranger" meant Roland. The golden age of accompaniment keyboards coincided with the great success of Roland's first E-series, which dominated the international digital keyboard market for several years. Roland's success began in 1987 in Italy, in Acquaviva Picena (AP), with a winning combination of sounds and styles. On one hand, there was the unmistakable texture of Roland's sounds; on the other, there was the arrangement section that spanned the entire mainstream international repertoire. The ease of use allowed for smooth control of different patterns, as if the system could anticipate the musician's intentions. Fun was guaranteed: many keyboardists of the time, checking the time, were surprised to realize they had been playing for hours without interruption. Time flew when you played a Roland arranger. After the glorious first E-series, professional keyboard models of the G-series (G-600, G-800, G-1000) appeared, along with the unique professional keyboard-less module, the RA-800.
