Kanile'a's soprano model combines Hawaiian koa and ebony!

Kanile'a, meaning "joyful sound" in Hawaiian, is a ukulele maker that combines traditional wood selection and processing with modern technology, centered around master luthier Joseph Souza.

The "K-1S/NAT" is a soprano model in the K-1 series that uses standard-grade Hawaiian koa wood for its body.

In addition to the fretboard and bridge, ebony is also used for the headplate and bridge pins. The headstock logo and position markers, made of white mother-of-pearl, add an accent to the wood-based appearance.

The guitar is equipped with original GOTOH tuners featuring ebony buttons. The finish is UV Natural.
