Sony TCS-430 Stereo Cassette-corder (Walkman) - New Belts

Used but very good condition Sony TCS-430 Stereo Cassette-corder (recording Walkman) with original soft case.

This is slightly less common in handheld recorders because it has both stereo microphones and a stereo microphone input. It’s great for things like loops or gritty field recording. It will also power a microphone that needs plug-in power, I used it with a lav mic successfully.

While it can play back type II tapes it will only record to type I.

Selling as this is a double and I can’t justify two of them at the moment.

The main drive belt was recently replaced by me so you should be good to record for another few decades. The tape counter also works properly and the battery compartment is free of any corrosion.
