Sabian 8" AAX Aero Splash

Sabian 8" AAX Aero Splash

The 8" AAX Aero Splash delivers a bright, cutting response with natural decay that sits perfectly between pure white noise and musical tonality. Its compact size and multiple small-hole pattern design make it an agile addition to any cymbal setup, responding cleanly to both delicate articulation and aggressive strikes. This splash excels in cutting through dense mixes while maintaining enough musicality to stand on its own.

Tonal Character & Sonic Range

Engineered to balance high-end cut with a musical decay, the Aero Splash occupies the sweet spot between the AAX O-Zone Splash (pure white noise) and the AAX Air Splash (tonal end). The multiple small-hole pattern design concentrates white noise density effectively, producing that signature trash character without sacrificing definition or musicality—critical for maintaining clarity in overdubs and layered percussion arrangements.

Design & Construction

Built with Sabian's AAX series brass alloy and featuring a carefully engineered multiple small-hole pattern, this cymbal is designed for maximum cutting power and focused response. The 8" diameter makes it a versatile accent tool in the studio, adding articulate high-end presence to drum tracks, electronic percussion layering, or as a textural element across multiple session contexts.
