The AX-Synth is a keytar released in 2009, successor to the AX-7, with the distinctive feature of having its own built-in sound engine. It features 49 velocity-sensitive keys, 128-voice polyphony and 256 sounds, along with numerous controls designed for live performance such as the D-Beam, pitch ribbon, modulation, portamento and aftertouch. Battery-powered with around 6 hours of battery life, it was primarily designed for stage use and synth lead performances. Sold with a rigid SKB case.
