The Bronco PR258 is a small, 15-watt American solid-state combo amp, manufactured in the mid-1990s, with an 8-inch Fender speaker. Despite its very vintage tweed look, it's not a tube amp: its appeal lies primarily in its rather unique character, with a Normal channel and a Drive channel offering plenty of gain, even producing decidedly aggressive tones. It features a Bass/Middle/Treble EQ, a headphone output that can also be used as a Line Out, and an 8-ohm external speaker output that bypasses the internal speaker. Fender claimed a design that delivered more punch and a greater sense of power than its 15 watts would suggest.
