The Wallet
Reverb makes the Wallet available to you in partnership with Get Ansa, Inc. (“Program Manager") and Program Manager’s partner bank, First Internet Bank of Indiana, Member FDIC (“Bank”). Your Wallet allows a U.S. dollar value to be loaded into your Reverb account at Bank to create your account balance for use on the Site. The dollar value loaded into your Reverb account is a prepayment for the goods and services on the Site. Reverb offers the Wallet to make it easier for you to access your account balance to shop with on the Site and to make your relationship with Reverb more rewarding. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly authorized by Reverb or permitted by these Terms of Use, the dollar value added to your account balance is nonrefundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Your Wallet balance is accessible to you through the Wallet. The balance in your Wallet is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), nor does it earn interest. Defined terms used but not defined herein have the definitions set forth in Reverb’s Terms of Use.
By using the Wallet, you acknowledge that you have read and understand, and agree to the Program Manager’s End User License Agreement and Privacy Policy.
A) Loading Value into Your Wallet: Reverb will specify within the Services the ways you can load value on or accept payouts in your Wallet. There may be a delay from the time funds are loaded onto your Wallet and those funds being available for use. All amounts loaded into your account balance are denominated in U.S. dollars. Reverb may offer you the opportunity to become a verified Wallet user (“Verified User”) by having you submit information requested by Reverb and/or Program Manager to allow Reverb and/or Program Manager to verify your identity (and by submitting such information, you permit Reverb to share that information with Program Manager for the purposes of such verification). Reverb may decide whether to make you a Verified User in its sole discretion.
Unless you are a Verified User, You may not have more than $2,000 in value in your Wallet balance at any time and your Wallet activity cannot exceed $2,000 over the course of a day.
If you are a Verified User, you may not have more than $5,000 in value in your Wallet balance at any time and your Wallet activity cannot exceed $5,000 over the course of a day. There is a minimum amount that may be loaded into your Wallet balance at any given time, and that amount is typically $1. Reverb, Program Manager, or Bank may change any of these amounts at any time without notice to you.
The following terms will apply to the extent Reverb offers the ability to use a credit or debit card to fund your Wallet balance:
Prior to charging your credit or debit card, an authorization process will occur for the amount of your funding transaction ("Transaction"). The authorization process will validate the credit or debit card number, status, available credit or funds, and billing information to ensure that it matches what the bank or card company has on file. Your bank or Reverb may attempt to contact you for additional information, and you must provide such information, prior to authorizing the Transaction amount.
For credit cards, once an authorization is received, you may notice a decrease in your available credit line. Your bank may hold this dollar amount from your credit line or available balance for a short period of time determined by the policy of your bank before your Transaction is fulfilled. For debit cards, your bank may pre-authorize a charge to your deposit or checking account and place a temporary hold on the funds before your Transaction is fulfilled. If your Transaction is canceled, Reverb will request an authorization reversal on your behalf. Reversal times may vary. Reverb recommends contacting your bank or credit card company to learn about their authorization and authorization reversal policies.
B) Promotional Programs: From time to time, Reverb may in its sole discretion, run promotional programs associated with the Wallet ("Promotions"). Such Promotions are subject to the Terms of Use, as well as additional terms as indicated in connection with the Promotions. Reverb reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of any Promotion at any time, including and up to terminating the Promotion.
C) Fees and Expiration of Wallet Balances: Reverb does not charge any activation, service, dormancy or inactivity fees in connection with your Wallet. Except as otherwise specified herein, your Wallet has no expiration date, and except for funds credited to your Wallet in connection with a Promotion (as may be specified herein or in the terms applicable to such Promotion), your Wallet balance will not expire.
D) Receipts and Transaction History: When you use your Wallet, Reverb will provide a receipt if you request one. Please check your online transaction history, including your reload Transaction history, regularly to ensure that your transaction history and Wallet balance are correct. You can check the balance of your Wallet and review recent transactions, including any reload Transactions, if applicable, on the App or Site. Reverb will not send you statements of activity on your Wallet.
E) Billing Errors, Corrections: Reverb will correct the balance of your Wallet if Reverb believes that a clerical, billing, or accounting error occurred. If you have questions regarding your transaction history or any correction, or if you wish to dispute any transaction or correction that has been applied to your Wallet, please contact Reverb customer support here. Assuming you provide sufficient details, Reverb will review your claim and tell you the results of the review. Reverb will correct any error promptly after the review is completed. If Reverb does not find any error, Reverb will explain what was found. Reverb has no obligation to review or correct any billing error unless you provide sufficient notice for Reverb to review your claim within sixty (60) days of the date of the transaction in question.
F) Fraud Associated with Your Wallet; Prohibited Activities: Reverb will not accept any Wallet, or will limit use of your Wallet balance, if Reverb reasonably believes that the use is unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful, and Reverb considers such action appropriate to limit its risk. Reverb has no liability to you for any third-party fraud or unlawful activity associated with any Wallet balance. If Reverb suspects or discovers any Wallet balance was sourced or derived from fraud or other unlawful means, Reverb may in its sole discretion, cancel all impacted Wallet accounts and retain all related Wallet balances without notice to you. Reverb may use retained Wallet balances to help offset its liability to card companies, networks, and issuers of lost or stolen credit and debit cards used to load the Wallet.
Reverb may also cancel or suspend your Wallet account without any liability and in its sole discretion retain all related Wallet balances without notice to you if Reverb believes that you have used the Wallet to transfer balances between different Wallets solely for the purpose of obtaining cash back or other benefits, in connection with unlawful or abusive activity, fraud, gambling, intellectual property infringement, investment or credit services, check cashing, bail bonds, collections agencies, counterfeit or unauthorized goods, drugs and drug paraphernalia (including pseudo pharmaceuticals), substances designed to mimic illegal drugs, adult content and services, multi-level marketing, unfair, predatory or deceptive practices, or money services (the “Prohibited Business Activities”). Reverb may update the list of Prohibited Business Activities at any time in its discretion without notice to you.
G) Liability for Unauthorized Transactions: You should treat your Wallet like cash and not disclose your App or Wallet login credentials to anyone. If your App or Wallet login credentials are lost or stolen, unauthorized persons may be able use your Wallet balance. You are responsible for all transactions on your App or Wallet, including unauthorized transactions.
If your App or Wallet login credentials become lost or stolen, report it as soon as possible by reaching out to the Reverb customer support here. Once notified by you of the lost or stolen credentials, Reverb will freeze your remaining Wallet balance at the time you notify Reverb and will reload that remaining Wallet balance into your Wallet once you have secured your account.
H) Terms for Expiring Promotional Balances. Unless otherwise set forth in the terms for an applicable Promotion:
- Issuance and Expiry: Promotional balances issued by Reverb expire on the date specified in the offer unless extended. Multiple promotional balances are treated separately and expire as stated in the offer criteria.
- Usage: Expiring promotional balances are of bonus cash value, usable only for eligible purchases on the Site. They cannot be transferred, or redeemed for cash.
- Account Closure: Remaining promotional balances are forfeited if your Wallet account is closed or the platform is discontinued.
- Eligibility Requirements: Redemption requirements should be stated in the criteria outlined in the terms for the applicable Promotion.
J) Cancelation: If your Services account (including any App or Wallet accounts) is canceled, terminated, or otherwise closed, your Wallet will also be closed. If Reverb terminates your account without cause, Reverb will refund or issue store credits equal to your Wallet balance, less any amounts that you may owe Reverb. If Reverb terminates your account for cause, Reverb may in its sole discretion (including if Reverb deems it appropriate to limit Reverb’s losses) retain any Wallet balances in your canceled account. If you cancel your account with Reverb, any Wallet balance will be nonrefundable unless Reverb is required to issue a refund per applicable law, or if Reverb chooses to do so in its sole discretion. Wallets that remain inactive for more than 2 years (or such other period as Reverb may specify in its sole discretion) may be subject to cancellation at Reverb’s discretion. All refunds will be transferred or credited to the original payment method used to load the Wallet. Once your Wallet is canceled (whether by you or by Reverb), you will no longer be able to access your Wallet or your Wallet funds. Reverb will not be liable to you or to any third party for the suspension or cancellation of your Wallet, or your access to or use of the Wallet. Once your Wallet is canceled, you understand and acknowledge that Reverb will have no further obligation to provide access to your Wallet or your Wallet funds or allow you to access any of your Wallet information. If you wish to reactivate your Wallet, please contact Reverb customer support here. If you are unable to reactivate your Wallet, you will need to create another account to use the Wallet. Please note that certain states require that Reverb turn unclaimed funds over to the state. This may happen if your Wallet remains canceled for a long time. If this happens to your Wallet balance, you will need to contact the relevant state to reclaim your funds.
