Overview
Up for sale is a stunning, powerhouse of an axe: a 2014 G&L USA Legacy 2HB in a jaw-dropping custom Charcoal Frost Sparkle Grey finish.
If you know G&L, you know the "2HB" configuration is highly sought after. Unlike later standard HH models that switched to standard G&L-branded parts, this 2014 custom model comes completely factory-loaded with premium, top-tier third-party upgrades right out of the Fullerton shop. It balances classic California boutique build quality with a highly versatile, aggressive tonal palette.
Kept in my smoke free, home studio.
Factory Premium Specs:
- Pickups ( HH - 2 Humbuckers):
- Bridge: Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Trembucker (The ultimate hot-rodded humbucker for rock, crunch, and searing leads).
- Neck: Seymour Duncan '59 Humbucker (Warm, articulate, vintage PAF tones with incredible clarity).
- Tuners: Factory-installed Sperzel Locking Tuners (Flawless tuning stability and lightning-fast string changes).
- Neck & Fretboard: Hard-rock maple neck with a beautiful, dark Rosewood fretboard (offers a smooth, comfortable playing surface and excellent tonal warmth). C shape with satin finish for smooth playability,
- Bridge: G&L Dual-Fulcrum Vibrato (Incredibly smooth action, stays perfectly in tune).
- Controls: 3-way toggle switch, Volume, and G&L’s famous PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system—allows you to roll off bass or treble globally, making these humbuckers incredibly versatile (you can easily lean them out to sound like single-coils!).
Condition & Playability
This guitar plays like an absolute dream. The frets are like new, the neck is straight, and the action is dialed in low and fast (professionally setup). The Charcoal Sparkle finish looks incredible under stage lights—subtle in the dark, but absolutely pops with metallic depth when the light hits it.
