Complementing this response are brass-ended True-Tone snare wires that help unlock the utmost in snare sensitivity. Finally, there is a MAG throw off that holds the snares in the "on" position and releases them quietly, while a sidekick 3-position butt plate offers low, medium, and high snare tensions to choose from with the flip of a lever.

This snare has visible distress around the brass hoop that is consistent with use and wear and tear. The drum plays well but does have cosmetic rust on the hoops.
