Fender Stratocaster 1984-1989 - Cream
This is a Japanese Fender Stratocaster. Made in the Hoshino factory. The serial number places it 1884-1989. It features a Fender "System One" tremolo. Basically Fender's attempt at copying the Floyd Rose bridge. These bridges were only manufactured 1985-1987. Which narrows down the manufacture date a bit more.
I never used the trem, so I had it blocked. But it's easily removed if you wish to use it. I do not have the bar.
The pickgaurd was replaced to allow for an HS configuration. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan JB. Made before Duncan silk screened their name on the pickups. The tone knob is a push/pull that splits the humbucker. Allowing for more standard Stratocaster and Telecaster tones.
The condition is very good, considering it's age. I babied it. But it does have plenty of wear from years of gigs. Plenty of little dings, scratches and paint cracks. But nothing major.
I will include a gig bag.
