Vintage Japanese Fender! These are some of the best guitars that Fender has produced!

Looking at the Fender Japan catalogue from the era, could be either a 1985 or 86.

Beautiful glassy single coils in the neck and middle. A punchy Seymour Duncan in the bridge gives it that classic Kurt Cobain 90's grunge sound!

Neck is super smooth and feels well played-in. Nice and straight, plent of fret life left. Vintage 80s Fender branded tuners that hold tune great if you choose to forgo the post-nut locking system. Minor scuffs on a couple of the edges of the headstock.

Cosmetically, there are various nicks and dings, all the ones you'd expect for a 40 year old instrument. the worst damage is a decent sized paint chip on the heel of the body behind the neck and one of the horns has a smaller ding that reach the wood underneath. The dings and scratches on the front and back are much more minor and can't really be seen from a distance. This instrument has been well-played and well loved during its lifetime.

Stock Kahler bridge. The Boxer series from this year came with either the Kahler or System 1 trem. Unfortunately, the low E string fine tuner broke off. The bridge still works just fine without it, you just lose the fine tuning ability. The piece will be included in case you wanted to try and fix it.
