2022 Martin Custom Shop Short Scale D-18 originally commissioned as a custom run for Music Villa.
Guitar is in excellent condition. Originally purchased from Music Villa (which currently lists their latest custom short-scale D-18 on their site for $4,100).
The Short Scale Difference (24.9" Scale Length): Standard D-18s feature a long 25.4" scale length. By taking it down to Martin’s comfortable 24.9" short scale, string tension is noticeably reduced. Chords in the lower position require less finger pressure, and wide stretches are far easier on your left hand.
