Simply stunning Custom Bourgeois OM that is a possible a one-of-a-kind build. Hide glue construction throughout. This gorgeous piece was built in 2011 and purchased by a collector for its unique beauty and wood combination. He wasn't a player; he bought it strictly to enhance his collection. So, the guitar sat in its case for six years until he decided to sell it. I bought it immediately and have only played her lightly and only with my bare fingers as I'm a finger stylists who never uses picks of any kind. So, I designated her "mint" even though I categorically disagree that any used guitar should be graded thus. But, Reverb grading scale goes from "mint" to "excellent", and this guitar is far better than excellent. So, let's call her "near mint". That's accurate.
Master grade Redwood top is the nicest, straightest grain example I've ever seen. No, it's not "sinker redwood". I want to say that early as I know some of you seek that top wood relentlessly. But, I really can't imagine finding a nicer top anywhere. No pick guard. The back and sides are equally impressive Brazilian Rosewood with some extremely nice variations. Pictures show it well. Long scale ebony board and bridge with fossilized ivory pins. 1 3/4" bone nut. String spacing at saddle is 2 5/16". Mahogany neck has a decidedly round profile of comfortable girth and plays extremely easy. Curly Koa binding on top, back, head stock, and fret board. Ebony head stock overlay with script "Bourgeois" inlaid in pearl. Top-of-the-line gold Waverly open backed tuners with snakewood buttons. Comes in regular issue mint hard shell case.
