C.F. Martin 000-10E Retro Road Series – Natural (S/N: 3089631)

New for 2026 • All-Solid Woods • Scalloped X-Bracing • Martin E1 Electronics • Softshell Case

This may be one of the most important new Martin guitars for players in 2026.

The C.F. Martin 000-10E Retro Road Series, serial number 3089631, delivers the fundamentals players want from a serious Martin acoustic—solid spruce, solid sapele, scalloped X-bracing, ebony fingerboard and bridge, comfortable 000 proportions and genuine stage-ready electronics—at a price that makes owning an all-solid Martin considerably more attainable.

Its vintage-inspired appearance is intentionally understated: an Aging Toner spruce top, satin finish, black binding, faux tortoise pickguard and nickel open-gear tuners.

Underneath that traditional look is a thoroughly player-friendly guitar, with Martin's PA neck profile, High-Performance Taper, 24.9" scale and 1 3/4" nut width.

Add Martin E1 electronics with a built-in tuner and the included Martin Softshell Case, and the 000-10E Retro is ready to move from home to rehearsal, studio or stage.

Available now at Northeast Music Center.

All-Solid Martin Tone

The specification tells you immediately where Martin placed the priorities on the 000-10E Retro.

At the top is solid spruce, paired with solid sapele back and sides.

That's important.

This isn't a guitar using layered back and sides to reach its price point. Martin built the fundamental acoustic structure around solid tonewoods and then paired them with scalloped spruce X-bracing.

The spruce provides clarity, definition and dynamic range, while sapele contributes a strong, balanced midrange that works particularly well in the versatile 000 body.

The result is an acoustic designed to respond equally well to fingerstyle, flatpicking, accompaniment and everyday strumming.

Why the 000 Body Works So Well

There's a reason the 000 has remained such an enduring Martin body shape.

It gives the player a comfortable instrument without sacrificing the depth and authority expected from a full-size acoustic.

The 24.9" scale length also creates a slightly more relaxed string feel than Martin's longer-scale designs, making fretting and bending particularly comfortable.

Pair that with the PA neck profile, High-Performance Taper and 1 3/4" nut, and the 000-10E Retro feels modern where it matters while retaining a traditional acoustic appearance.

For the singer-songwriter, fingerstyle player or guitarist who simply doesn't need the physical size of a dreadnought, this is an extremely practical platform.

Retro Looks – Modern Utility

Martin kept the visual treatment clean.

The spruce top receives an Aging Toner beneath its satin finish, complemented by black binding, a faux tortoise pickguard and simple multi-stripe top inlay.

Nickel open-gear tuners with black buttons reinforce the vintage-inspired look.

But this isn't intended to be a reproduction of an old Martin.

The Martin E1 electronics make it ready for amplification, with onboard controls and a built-in tuner providing the functionality needed for live performance without distracting from the acoustic character of the guitar.

That's really the point of the Retro concept here:

Traditional Martin influence where you can see it, modern practicality where you need it.

The Northeast Music Center Perspective

This is exactly the kind of Martin we like seeing introduced.

Not every customer walking into Northeast Music Center is looking for a Standard Series or Custom Shop guitar—but that doesn't mean they should have to give up the fundamentals that make a good acoustic worth owning.

The 000-10E Retro puts the money where it matters: solid woods, scalloped bracing, ebony, comfortable playability and useful electronics.

Its 000 body also makes it an easy guitar to live with. It's comfortable on the couch, practical for songwriting, easy to take to rehearsal and completely capable of plugging in when it's time to perform.

And because Northeast Music Center is located so close to the Martin factory in Nazareth, we're particularly excited when Martin introduces a guitar that can bring more players into the brand without stripping away the ingredients that matter.

The Martin 000-10E Retro, serial number 3089631, is a straightforward, all-solid acoustic-electric built to be played—not babied.

For the developing guitarist ready for a serious instrument, the working musician looking for a dependable acoustic-electric, or the longtime Martin player wanting an affordable 000 for everyday use, this new Road Series model makes a very strong case for itself.

Available now at Northeast Music Center with its Martin Softshell Case.
