OK. Occasionally we get wacky. This puppy pooped up pretty much as a body and neck- original machines, original bridge, original neck plate. We had an odd control plate off a 1960's Mustang, everything else was gone. Yeah, we coulda restored it, but sometimes we go for that one-of-a-kind lets give it some personality road, and here we are. Poly finish, wasn't cheap. Several colors of green sparkle mixed together, it's is overwhelming! we had Mojo custom wind us some Mustang/Duosonic pickups, but I wanted it to rock so put in a Duncan JB Junior at the bridge, and an old Duncan Vintage Strat type pickup at the neck, and wired it like a Duosonic. new CTS pots. If you would prefer the Mojo Duosonic pictures we will be glad to swap out. I had my buddy at Pickguardian cut me a clear guard as to not hide the finish any more than necessary. It turned out great, but could see it's not for everyone. We dug up some beater hard case for it.
The neck date is December 1965, so probably ended up at a dealers in 1966. The neck is gorgeous, really nice big flame. Light fret wear, but plays great. When I sent it off to get it refinished I had an idea of keeping it, but not gigging out with a guitar anymore and have a lot of stuff.
