Gibson Custom Shop PSL '64 ES-335 Figured Reissue Gloss Sunrise Tea Burst #131461

The Gibson Custom Shop PSL '64 ES-335 Figured Reissue Gloss is a masterfully crafted recreation of one of Gibson's most revered semi-hollow electric guitars. Finished in a striking Sunrise Tea Burst nitrocellulose lacquer over a beautifully figured maple body, this Custom Shop instrument captures the timeless elegance, versatility, and unmistakable tone of an original 1964 ES-335.

Built with a 3-ply figured maple/poplar/maple body and a solid maple centerblock, the '64 ES-335 delivers the perfect balance of warmth, resonance, and feedback resistance that has made the model a favorite among players across every genre. Traditional hide glue construction, authentic vintage appointments, and meticulous craftsmanship ensure exceptional sustain, responsiveness, and vintage-correct feel.

The solid mahogany neck features an Authentic '64 Medium C profile, measuring .874" at the first fret and .957" at the twelfth, providing a comfortable, broken-in feel that effortlessly blends substantial grip with smooth playability. The Indian rosewood fingerboard features a 12-inch radius, 22 authentic medium-jumbo frets, and elegant small block cellulose nitrate inlays, delivering a refined playing experience for everything from expressive blues bends to articulate jazz voicings.

Powering the guitar is a matched pair of unpotted Custombucker humbuckers, faithfully recreating the airy, dynamic response and rich harmonic character of coveted vintage Patent Applied For pickups. Wired with CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers, paper-in-oil capacitors, and premium Switchcraft electronics, the controls provide exceptional clarity, touch sensitivity, and tonal versatility, allowing everything from warm, woody cleans to singing overdrive with remarkable articulation.

Vintage-correct hardware includes a nickel ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles, a lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece, Kluson Single Line, Double Ring tuners, and authentic period details throughout, including Royalite binding, an authentic no-tube truss rod, cream switch tip, black 5-ply wide bevel pickguard, and nickel silver pickup covers.

Protected in a Black/Yellow Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, the PSL '64 ES-335 Figured Reissue Gloss is an exceptional instrument that faithfully delivers the legendary feel, appearance, and unmistakable voice of one of Gibson's most iconic semi-hollow guitars. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in a collection, it represents the very best of Gibson Custom Shop craftsmanship.
