1967 Martin D12-20 – Natural – Vintage 12-String with Hardshell Case

This vintage Martin is in very good overall condition and has been well cared for throughout its life. It recently received a professional bridge reglue performed by a master luthier, ensuring it is structurally sound and ready to be enjoyed for years to come. The guitar shows only light cosmetic wear consistent with its age, and notably, the spruce top, mahogany back, and mahogany sides are free of any cracks. The nut appears to have been replaced at some point in its history.

Tonally, this D12-20 delivers everything players expect from a vintage Martin 12-string. The combination of its solid spruce top and mahogany body produces a rich, powerful fundamental tone with excellent projection, impressive sustain, and a wide dynamic range. Whether strummed gently or played with authority, it responds with the warm, resonant voice that has made these instruments favorites among folk, Americana, and singer-songwriter musicians for decades.

There is a small section of binding near the bottom strap button that would benefit from being reglued. However, it has remained secure as the strap button effectively holds it in place, and it has not affected the guitar’s structural integrity, playability, or overall performance in any way. This is a minor cosmetic issue only.

The neck features a comfortable late-1960s Martin soft “V” profile that feels natural in the hand and is easy to play across the 12-fret rosewood fingerboard. Its classic 12-fret body design contributes to its open, balanced tonal character, making it an inspiring instrument both in the studio and on stage.
