Just a year after the launch of the Broadcaster®, Fender received a request from Fred Gretsch Mfg. Co. to cease the use of that registered name. While awaiting new Telecaster® decals, the company began removing the "Broadcaster" label from the headstocks, resulting in a series of instruments without any model name. History would later enshrine these guitars as the legendary Nocaster.

The Fender 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster reproduces this iconic model in its most authentic original form.

At the heart of this instrument lies a pair of 75th Anniversary Blackguard Telecaster® pickups, capable of delivering the classic warm tone, rich in twang and extraordinarily dynamic, that made the early Fender solid bodies famous, perfect for both rhythm and more intricate lead parts.

The body is made from stunning ash with a Nocaster Blonde finish and Heirloom Lacquer treatment, while the neck features a generous yet comfortable 1951 "U" profile made of hard rock maple, paired with a 7.25" radius fingerboard and Vintage Tall frets.

The American Vintage II Series showcases a selection of the most iconic instruments in Fender's history, reproduced with exceptional accuracy on technical, aesthetic, and sonic levels. Compared to the American Original Series, this new and updated series offers instruments that are even more historically accurate, representing the closest offerings to Fender Custom Shop production ever presented in the Fender USA catalog.
