This pedal has been used in a smoke free/studio environment only. Was not used in a gigging or live practice setting. Pedal is great and more than enough gain for any situation I ever needed.

Core Design and ChannelsDual-Channel Setup: Features two distinct rows of controls; the top channel (Channel 1) uses the exact same circuit as the original BE-OD, while the bottom channel (Channel 2) is re-voiced by Dave Friedman with slightly lower gain for crunch or rhythm duties.Amp-in-a-Box Tone: “delivers authentic tube amplifier sound with the controls needed to shape your tone.”, as noted by zZounds.Independent Controls per Channel: Each channel includes individual knobs for Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence, alongside a 3-position Tight switch.Features and Power Options3-Position Tight Switch: Allows you to dial in low-frequency response, moving from a loose vintage feel to a modern tight attack.Power Requirements: Operates on a standard 9V battery or a 9V–18V DC power supply (drawing 30 mA), with 18V operation yielding increased headroom. A splitter cable for 18V operation via dual isolated outputs is included.True Bypass Switching: “Ensures your signal remains pristine when the pedal is disengaged.”
