I have a 2020 Fender American Showcase Stratocaster here, with its original hard shell case and factory paperwork. I believe this color is called Olympic Pearl. It looks like Olympic White, but it's not a solid color. It's a metallic color.

Conditionally, this guitar looks beautiful.

The body top shows typical guitar pick strumming on the plastic pickguard. Above the pickguard there's a little bit of surface guitar pick strumming that spills over there. There are no major marks or any heavy play wear. Just that minimal amount of surface swirling.

The body sides/edges look excellent across the perimeter. I did not find any bumps or dings or chips. There are no neck pocket cracks.

The body back shows just a scattering of superficial swirling, but no concentrated buildup or accumulated sheen of such. There is no buckle rash or worming. I see one small surface scratch below the back plate that is about the same intensity as the guitar pick strumming, sort of a little rubbing mark. Nothing that breaks the finish or sinks into the finish. Pretty superficial. I didn't find any chips or dings. The overall luster of the gloss finish is excellent on this guitar.

The neck shaft contour looks and feels excellent, with nothing to report there. The headstock looks great with no chips or dings or notable play wear there. The frets are tall and meaty, showing just a tiny little bit of level signs of use, mainly on the first G and B string frets. Pretty much the beginning of signs of use on the frets. Nothing sinking in deep that would affect playability, so you may not even see it in the pictures. Also note, I took the time to oil the fretboard with F-1 Fretboard Oil, which gives it a deep conditioning and polishes the frets. So they are nice and shiny. The setup plays absolutely fantastic with 9-42 gauge strings. It's been fine tuned, so it should play fantastic right out of the case. The electronics are working as they should. The case is in excellent condition.

So this one rates anywhere between an 8.9 and a 9.1, which is right at the junction of Very Good and Excellent. I found minimal superficial signs of use only on the guitar, and a minor amount of signs of use on the frets. The overall look and aesthetic of the guitar is quite clean and striking. So I will grade it as Excellent. Not Near Mint, but generally quite a bit nicer than what is typically listed as VG here. The guitar is structurally and sonically sound, and plays and sounds fantastic.

The American Showcase Strat is one of the limited edition player's wish list incarnations of the Fender Stratocaster. This one has the modern, flatter 12 inch radius with a compound C to D shaped neck contour. It has its own proprietary Fender pickups, with a coil tap knob that gives you additional voicings. It has locking tuners and a fully painted headstock with a metallic inlaid logo, and a unique finish known as Olympic Pearl.

So it's certainly comparable and in the same camp with the American Professional series, and the previous American Standard series. The American Showcase is sort of a higher end, player friendly, limited edition version of that series.

Note that this listing may come down at any time. I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that into your purchase.

I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.

Thank you for reading and considering!
