For sale is an Ibanez SoundGear parts bass, assembled with a body marked SR500 and a neck marked SR600.
The neck serial number indicates that it was made in Japan in December 1992 at the Fujigen factory. I do not have sufficient evidence to confirm the country or date of manufacture of the body, nor when the body and neck were combined. Factory quality control passed both of them with a red "A" (best quality).
The bass features passive pickups in a P/J configuration with active EQ, powered by a 9V battery. It retains all four original-style control knobs.
It has a beautiful Sunburst finish and is in excellent overall condition, with only two very small, almost invisible cosmetic scratches.
One of the standout features of this bass is its exceptionally light weight, making it very comfortable to play during long sessions.
