Today, for your consideration - a limited edition 2004 Gibson Les Paul! This is from an exclusive run of Les Pauls that Gibson built for Guitar Center that featured premium features including bound headstocks, ebony fingerboards, and premium flamed maple tops. These guitars are a significant step above a Les Paul Standard, even though they are labeled as such. This one has been played but is an absolute sweetheart. It has honest wear under the bridge pickup as these came factory without pickguards. The pickups were upgraded with Seymour Duncan Slash signature humbuckers (Appetite burst style), the strap buttons were replaced with a locking type, and the tuners were replaced with locking Gotohs. The original tuners are included, and the guitar will ship in a non original hard case with a high quality leather strap. She weighs in at a very comfortable 8 pounds, 11 ounces and is hand numbered 183 out of 275. The writing has faded but is visible in certain lighting and under blacklight.
