The Suhr 10th Anniversary Andy Wood Signature Modern T in Arancio Orange is a guitar built to meet the demands of one of the most dynamic and technically gifted players of his generation. Andy Wood has always existed in a musical space where country, rock, fusion, and bluegrass collide in a storm of precision and soul. His playing is a study in control and abandon, every note a flash of fire balanced with perfect articulation. Suhr has been his partner in that pursuit of perfection, translating his intensity, finesse, and versatility into a machine that feels as alive as his touch. This limited 10th Anniversary edition celebrates not only a decade of collaboration between artist and builder but a shared obsession with excellence, tone, and feel.

The Modern T silhouette anchors this instrument in familiar territory, but everything about it has been refined to the sharpest edge. The swamp ash body, finished in a brilliant gloss Arancio Orange, gleams with energy and confidence. It’s both elegant and electric, the color of motion and heat. A sleek carbon fiber pickguard sets off the vivid body, underscoring the fusion of modern technology and organic tone that defines both Andy Wood and Suhr. The guitar’s 8 pounds and 7 ounces balance perfectly on the strap, substantial yet fluid in hand.

The neck is roasted maple, shaped to Suhr’s Modern Elliptical profile for effortless playability, its satin finish inviting the touch and refusing to fight back. The ebony fingerboard radiates smoothness and speed, built for the kind of fluid runs and intricate bends that mark Andy’s sound. A 16-inch radius and jumbo stainless-steel frets give the feel of absolute precision under the fingers, allowing both delicate phrasing and aggressive attack to sing without resistance. The laser-engraved Andy Wood signature on the headstock stands as a quiet testament to a collaboration rooted in respect and shared vision.

At its heart lies the pair of Woodbucker pickups, voiced to capture the wide emotional range Andy commands—from crystalline clarity to snarling authority. They are transparent when you need them to be and explosive when pushed. The SSCII system ensures that silence stays truly silent, even under the fiercest gain. A 2-post tremolo with solid saddles brings modern expressiveness and tuning stability, while Suhr locking tuners seal the deal for road-ready reliability.

The Suhr 10th Anniversary Andy Wood Modern T is not just a signature model. It is the distilled essence of an artist who plays without boundaries, and a company that refuses to settle for anything less than perfection. It’s a celebration of tone, speed, and soul, delivered in a flash of orange brilliance that dares you to keep up.
