Beautiful and hard-to-find Ibanez KIKO10BP Premium, Kiko Loureiro’s signature model, in Transparent Gray Burst. This is an exceptionally versatile high-performance guitar that combines Ibanez playability with a much broader tonal range than you might expect from a guitar designed for a player known for progressive metal.

The guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well cared for. There are no significant blemishes, fret wear is minimal, the action is set low, and it plays beautifully.

The original Kiko HSH pickup configuration, 5-way switching and coil-tap function provide an unusually wide range of sounds. It can go from aggressive high-gain metal and articulate lead tones to fusion, rock, cleaner single-coil-type sounds and warm jazzier tones. This is definitely not a one-dimensional metal guitar.

The KIKO10BP also has some beautiful construction details, including the figured maple top, alder body, Panga Panga fretboard, 24-fret neck and matching headstock. The Transparent Gray Burst finish really shows off the figuring in the top.

One particularly unusual feature of this guitar is the signatures on the rear tremolo cover. The Kiko signature is on the switch plate. The tremolo cover was also signed by members of a band before I acquired the guitar. I have tried to identify the signatures but have not been able to verify their identities, so I am not representing them as belonging to any particular artists or band. They’re simply an interesting bit of this guitar’s history and a mystery for the next owner.

Includes the original hardshell case shown in the photos.

I’m selling because I’m consolidating my collection after purchasing another Ibanez Prestige. This isn’t being sold because of any problem with the guitar—it plays and sounds excellent.
