Partscaster made from a Squier Contemporary Series body (like a Deluxe/American Pro series, with the 2 point trem & recessed heel, plus the side jack), a Squier lefty neck from a 2003 Affinity, sporting a rosewood fretboard and 1 piece maple neck with vintage style, small frets.
The pickguard, pickups (016730 model) and circuit come from a 2008 American Standard, stock with a No Load bridge & middle tone pot. All plastics are original Fender save for the rear covers.
The bridge is a 2 post from an older American Deluxe (post screws are Squier originals).
The jack is a Switchcraft unit.
The neck has been professionally refinished in amber nitro, saving the original logo & serial number but leaving a much nicer feel, with smooth satin finish on the back and high gloss on the headstock face.
The guitar plays cleanly with low action and the tremolo stays in tune under heavy use. Light, balanced and with a great, classic strat sound with lots of twang.
