At A&D Music Resale, we are proud to offer one of Patrick Swayze’s personal guitars: his 1982 Gibson ES-335 Dot in a beautiful Natural finish.

Included with the guitar is an original vintage photograph of Patrick Swayze holding the instrument when he was younger, as well as the original Bill Lawrence pickup that was previously installed in the guitar. Together, these items make for an incredible piece of music and film history.

Patrick Swayze was an iconic actor, best known for starring in classic films such as Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Road House, and many others. Beyond his legendary acting career, he was also a talented singer and songwriter with a genuine passion for music.

This 1982 Gibson ES-335 plays exceptionally well. The electronics function perfectly, the action is impressively low, and the guitar is an absolute joy to play. The frets are on the lower side from years of use, but every note rings out cleanly with no issues.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows normal signs of age and use, including light scratches, small dings, and minor finish wear, all of which are shown in the photos. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the playability or performance of the instrument.

The original Gibson hard shell case is also included. It shows expected wear from use over the years but remains fully functional and protects the guitar well.

A legendary actor, an iconic Gibson model, and documented provenance combine to create a truly special instrument. Whether you’re a collector of entertainment memorabilia, a Gibson enthusiast, or simply looking for an outstanding vintage ES-335 with an incredible story, this is a rare opportunity to own a remarkable piece of history.

The guitar will be professionally packaged, fully insured, and shipped with the utmost care.
