DESCRIPTION
The Ibanez AJ70M2E is a full-bodied acoustic-electric guitar designed to deliver powerful tone, responsive dynamics, and amplified clarity—all wrapped in a classic jumbo silhouette. Whether you’re performing on stage, tracking in the studio, or just strumming at home, this instrument brings warmth, punch, and versatility to your playing.
At its core, the AJ70M2E features a solid Sitka Spruce top, known for its wide dynamic range and excellent tonal balance. This top wood produces sparkling highs, tight mids, and a strong, full low end, making it a perfect fit for strummers and fingerpickers alike. The Okoume back and sides contribute a warm, earthy character that complements the spruce top, adding definition and depth to your overall sound.
A Nyatoh neck and Laurel fretboard offer smooth playability and a warm tonal profile, while the Laurel bridge ensures efficient transfer of string energy to the body for enhanced sustain and resonance.
When it’s time to plug in, the Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup and AEQ-TP2 preamp work together to preserve your acoustic tone with accuracy and transparency. The preamp includes a 2-band EQ and an easy-to-read onboard tuner, giving you total control over your sound on stage or in any amplified setting.
With thoughtful features like Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins for easy string changes and secure seating, the AJ70M2E is built with both tone and playability in mind—offering dependable performance for players at any level.
