Rare Vintage '60's-70's Shure 545SG Dynamic Microphone, wow sound w/cable-stand

Offering a vintage and rare 1960's early 70's Shure 545SG Unidyne III Dynamic Microphone. In my opinion, this mic blows away anything else in it's price range, hands down! A real classic with a tonal quality to die for. (Check out the voice sample in the listing video.)  Designed for instrument pickup and recording, the 545SG can be used on lecterns for public address systems, such as those used in political conventions and legislatures, convention halls, hotels, public auditoriums, stadiums, schools, and churches. Live performances with this mic are ideal in any situation, either heavily amplified, or acoustic, with excellent rear rejection to prevent feedback.

The rarity of this mic relates to the Gold finish, but due to consistent handling, much of the gold has worn, which kinda gives it that unique two-toned silver/gold finish. The pivot joint holds the tilt angle firmly in place, the mic stand threads are in good shape, and the on-off switch works perfectly. This sale includes the pigtail cable adapter, 3 pin male Amphenol, to male XLR plug, plus the basic display desk stand.
