Some guitars earn legendary status. The ES-335 practically invented it.

What really grabbed me about this one, though, is the figuring. If I'm being picky, and I usually am, the figuring is what separates this one from the crowd. There are plenty of great ES-335s out there. There aren't nearly as many that look this good.

Tonally, this is that sweet spot between a Les Paul and a full hollowbody. The maple center block gives you the sustain and focus you'd expect from a solid body, while the hollow wings add an openness and air that makes chords bloom and lead lines feel alive. Gibson's humbuckers are the perfect match here, delivering warm, articulate PAF-style tones that clean up beautifully and absolutely sing when you lean into them.

If I could only own one Gibson, an ES-335 would be awfully hard to argue against. It's one of those rare guitars that doesn't ask you to compromise. It just quietly excels at everything you throw at it. And when it happens to look this good? That's just a bonus.
