The Beachtek DXA-FX is a balanced audio adapter specifically designed to mount to the tripod bushing of the Sony HDR-FX1 camcorder. The DXA-FX provides dual, balanced XLR inputs that are capable of balanced microphone level signal. The DXA-FX connects to the HDR-FX1 via the 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo output jack. Dual gain adjust dials provide individual input level control. Dual limiter switches eliminate peak distortion due to excessive input levels. A Mono / Stereo switch is provided for instances when single or dual microphones are used.
