I recently built this 1997 Robert Cray Signature hardtail Strat with authentic pieces that i farmed over a period of months.
This 60th Anniversary model is in quite incredible shape. These guitars are famous for being exceptional builds ~ and with the uprades in this girl, she stands toe to toe with any Fender Custom Shop you'd bring to the table.
The featured aspect of this model is the sound matrix... The Fraser UK Vintage pickups deliver an incredible classic blues tonal range in every position ~ but the REAL STAR of THIS show is the onboard KingTone SRV 5-position/16-setting tone selector switch! The neck is a maple '61 *C-shape* profile ~ designed to feel like an early-1960s Fender, with a comfortable *slim-to-medium oval* profile, and a beautiful rosewood fretboard set with pristine vintage 6230 frets.
This might arguably be the nicest model made in Mexico. Comes with HD gig bag or add $60 for a non orginal hardcase.
