Up for sale is a 1977 pre-Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay bass featuring its original 1977 electronics and the unmistakable punch, growl, and clarity that made the StingRay a legend.
Originally finished in color, this bass was stripped and professionally refinished in a beautiful natural finish that really highlights the ash body grain. It’s been a player’s instrument throughout its life, but one that was obviously well cared for. The neck is straight, the action is comfortable, and it plays effortlessly up and down the fingerboard.
The previous owner removed the original pickguard, so no pickguard is included, giving the bass its clean, stripped-down look.
