A 2005 Taylor T5-C2, serial 20050527509 — a first-year example of Taylor's top-tier koa Custom T5. Built May 27, 2005 in the USA. Figured AA koa top in a tobacco sunburst, ebony fingerboard with abalone "wings" inlays, gold hardware, and full body binding. The T5 is Taylor's hollowbody thinline that spans acoustic and electric tones — a concealed neck humbucker, an internal body sensor, and a visible bridge humbucker run through a 5-way selector with volume and two-band EQ (bass/treble).
Excellent condition throughout — the neck is straight, frets show little wear, the bridge is fully seated, and the koa top is beautifully figured. All electronics are fully functional across all five pickup positions and controls. Includes alligator-embossed hard case. Happy to provide additional close-up photos on request.
