a classic, ultra-simple analog boost pedal featuring a single gain knob, a heavy-duty metal enclosure, and a block logo design. It delivers up to +26dB of clean signal boost to push tube amp preamps into natural overdrive or lift lead solo volumes.
Vintage Design & Features
- Single Control: One prominent "Gain" knob to adjust total output volume and signal push.
- No-Nonsense Build: Housed in a tough, compact metal chassis made in Rochester, New York.
- Power & Switching: Early 70s/80s units relied strictly on a 9-volt battery via an unscrewed backplate, lacking an LED indicator or external DC power jack found on later revisions
