Produced in extremely limited quantities and personally signed by the artist himself, the Martin 000-28 Shawn Mendes reimagines Shawn’s cherished 1920s Martin with a more accessible 000 build. The core of this limited-edition signature guitar is sure to feel familiar to any Martin fan, drawing upon the century-old 000-28 formula of a spruce top supported by a rosewood back and sides and scalloped X-bracing. The result is a mid-sized instrument that delivers a full, responsive tone, whether delicately fingerpicked or strummed with gusto. Next, Shawn put his own spin on the time-honored 000-28 recipe by adding a stylish slotted headstock and a distinctive Mendes Eagle fingerboard inlay atop an ebony fingerboard. As for playability, a genuine mahogany neck in a slim GE Modified Low Oval profile sports a speedy satin finish and a wide 1.75-inch nut width to accommodate players of all styles and backgrounds. Complete with a custom pickguard and top-tier Waverly tuning machines, the Martin 000-28 Shawn Mendes is a songwriter's dream guitar with a pop-proven pedigree.
