The Gibson Custom Shop Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition in Cremona Burst is a masterfully crafted acoustic electric guitar that celebrates one of Gibson's most iconic prewar designs with exceptional attention to detail, premium tonewoods, and handcrafted excellence. Built to honor the legendary Advanced Jumbo, this limited edition model combines vintage inspired appointments with modern stage ready performance, delivering a rich, dynamic voice that is equally at home in the studio, on stage, or in the hands of discerning collectors. The warm Cremona Burst finish is applied in a high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, allowing the instrument to resonate freely while showcasing the natural beauty of its carefully selected tonewoods.

At the heart of this exceptional instrument is a solid Bearclaw spruce top, prized for both its striking visual character and its remarkable tonal response. The unique figuring of the Bearclaw grain gives every guitar its own distinct personality, while producing exceptional clarity, projection, and dynamic range. Complementing the top are solid rosewood back and sides, creating a powerful yet refined voice with deep, articulate bass, rich overtones, balanced mids, and shimmering highs. Multi ply top and back binding provides an elegant finishing touch that highlights the timeless Advanced Jumbo body shape.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's Historic AJ profile, offering a substantial yet comfortable feel that captures the character of vintage examples. A rosewood fingerboard with a 12 inch radius provides smooth playability across the entire scale length of 25.5 inches, while mother of pearl Arrow inlays add an unmistakable Custom Shop aesthetic. Traditional construction includes a hand fitted dovetail neck joint, a bone nut, bone saddle, and a classic rosewood rectangle bridge fitted with TUSQ bridge pins for excellent sustain, stability, and tonal transfer.

Classic Gibson styling continues with an Advanced Jumbo Firestripe pickguard, elegant gold hardware, Grover open back tuning machines, and the iconic Gibson script logo inlaid on the headstock. Every detail reflects the heritage and craftsmanship expected from the Gibson Custom Shop, resulting in an instrument that feels every bit as inspiring as it looks.

For amplified performance, the guitar is equipped with the acclaimed LR Baggs VTC under saddle pickup system, featuring discreet onboard volume and tone controls that faithfully reproduce the instrument's rich acoustic character while offering natural sounding amplification for live performances and recording applications.

The guitar comes fitted with .012 to .053 gauge strings, providing an ideal balance of responsiveness, projection, and tuning stability. It includes a premium Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case for secure protection during transport and storage.

Weighing just 4 lbs. 13 oz., the Gibson Custom Shop Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition Cremona Burst offers an outstanding combination of lightweight comfort, vintage inspired craftsmanship, and world class acoustic performance.
