Here is a stunning Gibson Custom Shop Joe Perry Aged 1959 Les Paul Reissue Signature Model from 2013. This is one of the most desirable Joe Perry signature Les Pauls Gibson produced, with only 100 examples made, and this particular one is an exceptional example.
This model recreates one of the most famous Burst guitars in history—the legendary Les Paul originally owned by Joe Perry, later owned by Slash, and eventually returned to Joe Perry. Gibson and Tom Murphy did an incredible job capturing the character, vibe, and personality of that iconic instrument.
The aging on this guitar is truly exceptional. The amount of detail and realism in the finish work is outstanding, giving it the look and feel of a well-loved vintage Burst without sacrificing playability. Bravo Tom Murphy—this is a perfect example of why these pre-Murphy Lab aged guitars are so highly regarded.
The top on this guitar is fantastic, with beautiful figuring and tons of movement. More importantly, it is an extremely resonant instrument that sounds as good as it looks. This is one of those guitars that immediately feels special when you pick it up.
Condition is excellent, with the majority of the aging being factory applied by Tom Murphy. It appears to have been very well cared for and remains a fantastic example for both collectors and serious players.
It comes complete with the original hardshell case, COA, and all matching paperwork.

This one is an absolute joy to play. The neck has a great late-'50s feel, and the guitar is incredibly resonant acoustically.
