PRS Limited Edition Custom 24-08 w/ DMO Pickups Private Stock Color - Salmon

Not every guitar that comes through our doors stops us in our tracks — but this one did. The Interstellar Tone Traveler has secured a truly special piece: a Limited Edition PRS Custom 24-08 dressed in Private Stock Salmon, a deep, jewel-toned red that glows like a dying star and commands attention from across the room. The 10 Top Curly Maple cap is absolutely stunning under that gloss nitro lacquer, and PRS went a step further with the custom appointments — a curly maple neck stained to match the body, creating a unified, visually cohesive instrument that reads more like a Private Stock commission than a production guitar. Beneath it all, the mahogany back provides that familiar warm foundation, and a Ziricote fingerboard brings exotic, dark-grained beauty and a tonal character that's articulate, tight, and gloriously defined. Old School Bird inlays on Ziricote — that's a combination you simply don't see every day.

The Custom 24-08 platform is already one of PRS's most versatile spacecraft, delivering eight distinct voices through its 5-way blade and coil-tap system — from full, singing humbuckers to glassy, chimey single-coil textures without ever feeling like a compromise. This example takes that foundation and upgrades the engine with DMO pickups, voiced for the kind of warm, PAF-inspired articulation that breathes and responds to your playing with exceptional nuance. Smoked Black hardware adds a moody, sophisticated edge to the Pomegranate finish, and PRS Phase III Locking Tuners keep the whole ship in tune through even the most dramatic tremolo dives. At 7 lbs 12 oz in a gloss nitro finish, this guitar plays as beautifully as it looks. Arrives in PRS ATA Multi-Fit Molded Case — ready to travel.
