A stereo looper and effects processor from Soma Laboratory, designed around four algorithms - Two Delays, Four Delays, Giant Reverb and Granular Delay - that continuously shift and recombine recorded material rather than repeating a static loop. Delay lines are built on prime-number relationships so that repeats drift in and out of phase over time. Controls include Blur (crossfeedback between delay lines), Drift (auto-panning modulation), Drive (analogue-style overdrive), reverse playback, switchable high/low pass filtering and a suppressor/compressor. Built with Burr-Brown op-amps and Cirrus Logic converters, running at 32-bit/48kHz internally, with a 44.7 second loop memory. Firmware is user-upgradable via USB.
