This is a Roadworn bass that is distressed and I will say there is plenty of wear on the bass body additionally - of note there are moderate to heavy scratches throughout, but the nice thing is that they blend in to the relic really well. I’m pretty picky about things like that and it doesn’t bother me because it works with the motif.
The neck is wonderful, back of the neck is really smooth and slick. I leveled, crowned and polished the frets and I smoothed out the fret edges. I have professional tools, I’ve done quite a few of these and I find that the work makes a big difference to the playability of the bass. The pao ferro fretboard had been darkened a bit with Montepresso.
It has Thomastick Infeld flats which are $80 a set, a replacement genuine Fender tort guard, EMG actives, and it’s ready to go.
