Description

Offering a traditional transparent finish and high-output HB-2+ humbuckers with coil-split switches, this versatile guitar combines vintage vibes with modern features and performance.

Body Shape & Electronics

Guild Polara Deluxe guitars features stylish offset solid mahogany bodies with double cutaways for ease access to higher frets, while their vintage Soft U-Shape mahogany set necks and familiar 24.75" scale length ensure both playing comfort and structural stability. Polara Deluxe guitars also boasts a pair of high-output HB-2+ humbucking pickups with Alnico V magnets and classic Guild dual-rail covers. Dual Volume and Tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector deliver an extensive range of tones - which, combined with push-pull coil-split switches in the Tone controls, offer eight different switching combinations, including several single-coil options.

Deluxe Features & Aesthetics

Guild Polara Deluxe guitars feature deluxe trim packages that distinguish them from the more streamlined base Polara models. Recalling classic 1960s design elements such as bound Indian rosewood fingerboards with block inlays, Guild Peak logo and Chesterfield headstock inlays, and Guild compensated stopbar tailpieces, they strike an aesthetically appealing balance between vintage and modern. The Polara Deluxe Cherry Red sports a traditional transparent Cherry Red gloss nitro finish that beautifully complements the guitar's deluxe appointments.
