EarthQuaker Devices Tone Reaper (2013) – Hybrid Bender-Style Fuzz

EarthQuaker Devices has built a reputation out of Akron, Ohio for handmade, no-nonsense fuzz and drive pedals, and the Tone Reaper is a great example of that ethos. It's a vintage style fuzz device based on the "3 knob" bender, using a silicon and germanium hybrid circuit capable of producing an array of tones from every bender era with careful tweaking of the tone and fuzz controls. Now discontinued, these have become increasingly sought after among players chasing that specific hybrid fuzz character.

Features:

• Tone, Fuzz, and Level controls for shaping everything from thin and spitty to a growling crunch, with a midrange punch to make it scratch and kick through any mix
• Hybrid silicon/germanium fuzz circuit reminiscent of classic late '60s bender-style tones
• All analogue, true bypass circuitry, hand-built one at a time in Akron, Ohio
• Standard 9V DC power supply with 2.1mm negative centre barrel, low current draw

Condition: Excellent. This 2013 unit, serial #826, has been well looked after, no significant marks, with all switching and controls operating smoothly. Tested and working perfectly.

Included: Comes complete with the original box, box candy, and receipt.
