Up for sale, a 2006 Fender American Vintage ‘62 Jazzmaster in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original G&G Deluxe hardshell case. A discontinued model, the American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster captures the feel and tonal properties of a Pre-CBS example with tonewoods comprising an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard.

The single coil pickup pair offers a range of powerful and defined tones, with sparkling cut in the bridge position, and smoother, warmer tonalities at the neck. The American Vintage pickups are wound with a bit more midrange push than vintage Jazzmaster pickups, lending these coils a certain presence and a touch more fullness than many other Jazzmaster winds. Switching to the Rhythm Circuit on the lower body horn engages a dedicated circuit for the neck pickup with a darker, wooly tonal color. The three-tone Sunburst nitro lacquer finish has just one shallow scuff on the back of note south of the neck plate, a tiny bit of finish chipping at the treble-side edge of the neck pocket, and just a few additional minor marks and faint finish scratches in the clear coat. The gloss on the neck profile is smooth and clean. Both the guitar and case have a subtle smokey odor.
