Up for sale is my Epiphone SG G-400 in the classic Cherry finish.
The guitar is in excellent overall condition and has clearly been well looked after. It plays comfortably with the slim SG neck profile and delivers the classic SG sound from its pair of Epiphone humbuckers.
It has the desirable Grover tuners fitted from the factory, which provide excellent tuning stability.
The cherry finish has aged nicely, allowing the grain to show through, giving it a much more premium look than a solid opaque finish.
Features
- Mahogany body
- Set mahogany neck
- Rosewood fingerboard
- 22 medium jumbo frets
- Individual volume and tone controls
- 3-way selector switch
- Grover machine heads
- Classic Cherry finish
Condition
Overall I'd describe the guitar as Very Good condition.
Cosmetically there are only a handful of marks:
- Small ding on the rear upper horn (pictured)
- Small chip/mark on the lower bass side edge near the controls (pictured)
- Minor surface mark beside the pickguard
- Light swirling/scratching to the pickguard from normal playing
- General very light signs of use consistent with age
The neck joint is excellent with no signs of cracking or repair, and the frets have plenty of life remaining.
Everything functions as it should.
Included
- Guitar only (no case)
