This is my dream Strat. Sonic blue. Maple fretboard. Journeyman relic. Fat 50s pickups. I was worried the Fat 50s may be too hot and bassy, but they are clear, articulate, and perfectly think for cleans and can drive a pedal or amp such wonderful ways that vintage-voiced can't do without some help. I was able to nail all my favorite Strat tones: Yellow Ledbetter, Little Wing, Lenny, Sultans. Turn the volume down to 8.5 and you've got that vintage voice sound.

I bought this new in May of this year. It's in mint condition with very few hours of play. No fret wear and no blemishes or wear other than the Journeyman relic-job. It comes with the mint condition case and all case candy.

Why am I selling? I've got a kid starting college, and FAFSA doesn't help anymore. I just replaced an A/C in the house. I've got another kid who just started driving and this guitar will pay for six months of insurance (unreal). Basically, now is not the best time for a casual player like me to be buying and hanging on to a Custom Shop guitar, even though it checks all my boxes.
