Paul Reed Smith SE A60E Angelus Cobalt Blue Burst
Serial Number: H02933
Weight: 4.46 lbs.

The PRS SE A60E in Cobalt Blue Burst pairs genuinely striking ziricote back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, delivering a full, rolled-off-highs low end reminiscent of vintage acoustic voicing rather than a bright, modern scoop. PRS's hybrid "X"/Classical bracing pattern lets the top vibrate more freely than standard steel-string bracing, giving the A60E surprising volume and delicate dynamic nuance for its size. The Angelus body shape — PRS's own take on the OM/Auditorium format, with a Venetian cutaway for upper-fret access — is built for comfortable fingerstyle and flatpicking playing alike, weighing in at a light 4.46 lbs. Ziricote's dramatic, often striped figuring pairs with a curly maple headstock veneer and flame maple fretboard binding for a genuinely eye-catching instrument, further dressed in abalone rosette purfling and white/black body binding.

The mahogany neck carries PRS's Pattern Wide Fat profile (7/8" at the half fret, 61/64" at the 12 1/2 fret) — a fuller neck shape that suits players who like more to grip — set into the body and topped with an ebony fretboard, PRS's signature bird inlays, and an 11.81" radius across 20 frets and a 25.3" scale length. A 1 11/16" bone nut leads to PRS tuners in nickel/chrome, and an ebony bridge with a bone saddle rounds out genuinely premium appointments throughout.

Plugged in, the PRS-voiced Fishman Sonitone preamp delivers natural, uncolored amplified acoustic tone through simple volume and tone controls — straightforward electronics that get the guitar stage-ready without extra complexity. Whether you're a fingerstyle player drawn to ziricote's distinctive low-end character, a performer who wants genuinely striking looks alongside PRS build quality, or a player who prefers simple, no-fuss onboard electronics over a full EQ preamp, the SE A60E delivers a lot of acoustic guitar for the price. This Paul Reed Smith SE A60E Cobalt Blue Burst (Serial #H02933) includes a PRS hardshell case. Order today from Brian's Guitars, your authorized PRS dealer.
