HI, today a friend came over to put a "dummy pot", in the open hole on the body. It is shown without the knob, but it's on the bass now. This is because the ones that do work are a "Jazz bass configuration", He says. The electronics only use 3 knobs.
He also put on new strings. La Bella, "tapewounds." The kind that a bass like this needs. THEY'RE WHITE!!!
I now know that it is a ebony fretboard, with a double octave, and really good action. He also says that it looks like a graphite nut, and that it has a high quality high massed bridge.
Also has a very nice, heavily padded case, with matching blue interior.
