This is the Saturation Mod used on High Gain Amps with Dirty Colored Names in order to push them into extra overdrive/saturation/clipping as used by guitarist's from your favorite Hard Rock and Heavy Metal bands Alice in Chains, Billy Idol etc...
Perfect for Marshall or any "Boutique" Amp with Dirty Colored Names :) Tube amp must have a Cathode Follower. If you want extra Compression and Saturation for a more gain like tone then this is perfect for the do it yourself kind of guy or gal. Many guys no longer do mods and shipping your sacred amp off to the other guys is expensive and a gamble with shipping companies when you can do it your self.
This will not cut your bottom end like all Over Drive pedals do. Nor does it push the front end of your amp. It will give that stock Marshall JCM 800/JMP or Boutique amp a nice extra saturated clip. If playing an already modified high gain amp it is amazing...♫
Simple installation with two point connection. Red wire and Black wire. Comes with simple instructions and 10" leads in order to trim to fit. Also included are an assortment of washers so you can decide to mount it in an existing hole on the chassis such as a second speaker jack, unused input or drill and mount as most professionals do on the front or back panel.
Each component is assembled by hand and tested on a Marshall Super Lead 100 for proper function and reliability.
