2007 Collings I-35 DLX, Maple/Mahogany

2007 Collings I-35 DLX, dressed in highly figured Maple on top and Mahogany on the back. This one with a transparent red finish, which the ES-335-style semi-hollow is, in many iconic forms, a shade of red, and we find that so fitting here.

Some honest play wear with this one, but it's been put through its paces, and has not only withstood that test beautifully, it has a more robust, opened-up sound now, being nearly twenty years of age at the time of publication. Classic semi-hollow specs, legendary tone, solid top, solid tone.
